DOES MY 6 YEAR OLD HAVE TO TRYOUT?
No. Tryouts are only for the age groups 9/10 and older. 5/6 and 7/8 year old players will be placed on a team and called by a coach. You will also receive and email letting you know which team your player is on.
WHAT DOES MY REGISTRATION INCLUDE?
Great question! Your registration covers the cost of your players uniform which includes shirt and hat/visor for baseball and softball. Soccer registration includes jersey, shorts and socks. Running club registration includes a t-shit. Fall Baseball and softball registration includes a jersey and hat/visor. Basketball registration includes a jersey. Registration also helps to cover the cost of insurance, officials, league registration and assorted other fees.
DO I NEED TO PURCHASE PANTS FOR BASEBALL/SOFTBALL?
You will need to purchase pants - but we recommend you wait until you hear from your players coach at the parent meeting. Coaches will let you know what color pants to get for the season as well as what color belt/socks for the season. Younger players sometimes play in jeans, and that's ok.
I DON'T HAVE A TON OF EQUIPMENT FOR MY PLAYER - DOES THE LEAGUE PROVIDE EQUIPMENT?
Another great question! So each coach is given a bag of equipment which the players can use. This includes helmets and catchers gear for baseball/softball. If you don't have things like a glove, or cleats, or even pants - WE HAVE YOU COVERED! Every year we have an EQUIPMENT EXCHANGE - which allows people to pick up what they may not have - at no cost! Another great feature is - if you have stuff cluttering your garage, we will take it! And we will make sure it gets put in the EQUIPMENT EXCHANGE. Keep an eye on the website for dates/locations of the equipment exchange. Sports just has to be fun - it doesn't have to be expensive!
WHEN IS OPENING DAY?
Opening Day 2024 is March 23
CAN MY PLAYER REQUEST TO BE ON THE SAME TEAM WITH HIS BUDDY OR WITH A CERTAIN COACH?
Yes and no. Younger players, 5/6 and 7/8 can make special requests and generally do this during the registration process. We try to accommodate all requests, but can't guarantee it. Older players, ones in leagues that are drafted, can not make special requests to be with a certain coach or player due to the draft.
WHAT IS THE REFUND POLICY?
Refunds will be given under 2 specific instances only. If a player is injured prior to the beginning of the season or if they move from the area prior to the beginning of the season - we will gladly issue a refund. There are no refunds after DRAFT day for your players particular division.
