BOBS Running Club 24 - Winter 2024

Welcome to the Running Club - a fun introduction to running for kids ages 9-15.  Kids will learn such things as learning the proper way to run, how to train for a 5K run and exercises to build stamina for running.  Our Chairperson is USATF (United States of America Track and Field) certified and our coaches have a passion for running!  This 8 week program will include 2 practices per week and end with our  BOBS Running Club Run at Lodi Lake.  Kids 9-12 will train for a mile race, runners 11/12 can also choose to enroll to train for the 5k run, older kids 13-15 will train to run a 5K.  This is a great off-season class for your athlete which will only help them during their regular season.  Don't delay as the program is limited to the first 100 kids to sign up.  If you have questions, contact our Race Coach - Dawson Hayre at dhayre10@gmail.com. 

REGISTRATION FEE INCLUDES RACE ENTRY! 

For the kids 9-12, they will finish their season by running a 1 mile course at Lodi Lake.  Registration includes t shirt, race medal and race entry.  Top 3 finishers will receive a commemorative plaque. 

For the kids 11/12 and 13-15, they will finish their season by running a 5K course at Lodi Lake.  Registration includes t shirt, race medal and race entry.  Top 3 finishers will receive a commemorative plaque.

Comet Basketball - 2024 - Fall 2024

Welcome to Comet Basketball!

The Lodi Boosters of Boys/Girls Sports is pleased to announce another year of Comet Basketball, which is specifically for current 7th and 8th grade students.  This 11 week season will focus on players having fun, working on basketball specific drills and preparing them for high school basketball. If your player is NOT in 7th/8th grade - please contact the City of Lodi at 333-6742 for registering younger kids.

We are still working to finalize specific dates with our venue - but ballpark estimates are practices will start the beginning of November with games starting late November and run until the end of February.  Updated information will be made available as soon as it is confirmed.

Scholarships are available. Please reach out to Scholarship coordinator Justin Jones jnitmo@gmail.com with any questions. 

***Please pay attention to jersey sizes. There is a big difference between YS (youth small) and AS (Adult small). You will have to pay a fee for a new jersey if you order the wrong size.
